What I'm Loving this Autumn.

Hi Lovelies,

Here are my current favourite things this Autumn.

1. Cocoa Brown Shampoo & Conditioner.

This shampoo & conditioner have been life changing to not just my hair but also my skin. Marissa Carter created this product to be kind on both hair and skin and I have bought bottles of it each time I'm in the shops. I would have dry-ish skin and the likes of basic shampoos can dry out your scalp and skin as it runs down your body so this has been made to be so gentle on the skin and its also perfect for anyone who suffers with eczema or any other skin problems.

2. Paco Rabanne Olympea.

I purchased this in Morocco Airport after being completely obsessed with it as my friend always wore it. When I saw it in the airport I couldn't pass it. I literally wear it everyday and get endless compliments on the scent. Definitely worth the sniff when you're in your local boots!!

3.  Two Week Lashes.

I have been getting so many questions lately about my lash extensions. I go to Gloss in Navan where Tanita does my lashes and I have been so obsessed with them and just cant get enough. Gloss salon is based in Navan and You can Find them on facebook.  So many of my followers have gone and got the lashes and have all been delighted so make sure to check them out !!

4. Netflix.

I have been so addicted to Netflix Documentaries lately, I don't really know what the addiction is but the likes of Auschwitz documentaries actually really interest me. I have also been loving stranger things if you don't know what that is, you need to go on over to netflix and binge watch the Season. There's so many other things I'm loving on Netflix but there are too many to name.

5. Music.

Music has always been a huge thing to me as I danced for many years and always had some kind of something playing in the background. The past while Spotify has been keeping me on track with the lastest hits and a few I have been loving are "Picture This", "Gavin James", "James Arthut" & "Selena Gomez" .

I hope you all enjoyed this post.

Much Love as always,
Kayleigh xo

Where Are You Kayleigh?

Hi Everyone,

I know I have been completely off my game on my blogging this past while and I am so disappointed in myself for not posting as much as I was. I just wanted to come on and have a quick chat and explain where I have been and why my blog had to take a back seat for the past while.

I just felt lost.

My last blog post I wrote was on "Skinny VS Fat" which I posted in July. I wrote this when I was completely strict on my workout schedule and being so strict on my meal prep etc, to be honest I felt my fitness started to take over my life. I would go to the gym maybe 5 days a week which was usually the evenings after work and on my days off I would spend meal prepping and then going to the gym. This was all before my holidays as I wanted to gain as much weight as possible before holidays so I didn't look lost in my bikini by it hanging off me.

When I came back from Holidays I definitely had post holiday blues! I love travelling and anyone that knows me knows I hate coming back to Ireland after a trip away, I just want to board the next plane to anywhere but Ireland. I had such an amazing time in Morocco and didn't feel myself when I came home. It took so much energy to get me back into my gym program.

Work has also been a little crazy the last while and I have been so exhausted and drained that by the time I get home from work I don't want to go anywhere but bed so hence why the gym and my blogging got thrown aside.

So I am trying my best to get back on the road to getting my blog posts more frequent & I hope you all understand why I have been so off game. I get so many questions about why I dont post as much and I hope this explains it to you.

Much love as always,
Kayleigh xo

Skinny VS Fat.

I want to start this post by just saying that I am not writing this to offend or hurt anyone, I am literally just making a point on something that I feel quite strongly about.

I have never known what it's like to be "fat" or over weight.
Yes you are reading this either in the same position or shaking your head saying "Well lucky you".
Being judged for my size has been a huge deal since birth!

Fat Shaming is a huge NO NO and we all know that, Weight is something that no person should be judged about.  What about Skinny Shaming? Is that okay? Well No, No its not.

From experience I have learned that this is actually a huge issue.

As I mentioned before, I have struggled with being underweight for a very long time. I am not an unhealthy weight but I am not what I should be. As a child I was always tiny, I would hear my relatives saying to my parents "God Kayleigh eats nothing" or "Why does Kayleigh take so long to eat her dinner, she's such a slow eater." My relatives didn't realise that I was aware of what they were saying as I listened to everything as a child and was mature before my time. I was a slow eater because my body was small so my belly would fill up quite quickly and I would take my time so I wasn't making myself feel sick. I was never a fussy child I did & still do eat most foods besides a yukky sprout or a bit of turnip. I was quite lucky to be introduced to world wide foods from a young age so fussy was not something that would describe me. People just could not understand that wolfing my dinner down was not an option, they didn't understand that my body worked in its own way, that everyones metabolism is different, my metabolism being ridiculously fast.

Comments such as "There's more meat on a butchers pencil" or "Sure Your only a skinny little thing" are all looked upon as acceptable to say.

Turn the page over...

It is so frowned upon to call someone fat or overweight. If I were to say to someone "You could lose a few pounds" or "Sure you're a bit fat" that would be completely out of order.

Now I know you are reading this thinking wow this girl should watch what she's saying. Yes I am skating on thin ice but just think for a moment how you would describe someone who is a small, thin frame; Words like Skinny, Boney, Sick, Anorexic or Twig would probably come to mind. Society sees these words as acceptable. But yet Fat, Chunky, Obese, Hefty or Large would be all the last things you would call someone who has a few extra pounds on.

To me the word Skinny is offensive but of course people will laugh and roll their eyes because of course I'm so lucky to be Skinny.

Most of you know I am currently training in the Fit Factory and slowly gaining weight which is super tough. I didn't realise how much work I actually have to put in from drinking protein shakes to constantly eating and thats tough as I have to eat more than what I already stuff my belly with.

People will laugh and say "You don't need to go to the gym" but there we go again, You don't need to go to the gym because you're skinny, but imagine me telling someone overweight that they should go to the gym? I think that would be a bitter pill to swallow.

Society has taught us that no matter what size you are you will probably never be the perfect person, you are either too fat, too skinny, too muscly, too tall, too small and the list goes on and on.

So to finish off on my very open topic I just want you all to know that Its not ok to "Skinny Shame" a person just like its not ok to "Fat Shame" a person.

I hope you can all see where I am coming from with this post. I wanted to write this for a while but could never come up with the right words to write down.

At the end of the day everyone should be comfortable with their own bodies and everyone around them should be able to accept that.

"Place your value as a person above your size, shape or weight, Your dress size is no more important than your shoe size", - Julie Parker.

Much Love,
Kayleigh. xx

My Travel Bucket List.

Travel is so important to me, I just find it so educational. Experiencing how people live their lives, different cultures, foods & more.

Here is my Travel Bucket List.

Thailand.

Thailand has always interested me as it is such a beautiful place, it looks so calm and peaceful. The sense of freedom in the big open spaces and beautiful Islands of Thailand always appeal to me.
The White Sand beaches seem so beautiful & imagine waking up in Thailand ? A dream, Thailand is on my list for next year.

Santorini, Greece.

Beautiful. How amazing does this Island look? I can literally smell the fresh sea air and feel the sun on my face. Greece has always interested me as I love Greek food and them buildings are so beautiful.

Australia.

This is the Basin, Rottnest Island in western Australia and I have always loved the idea of visiting here. Australia has been another country on my list of places to visit. I wouldn't move there but I would love to visit Australia for a month or so and see the beautiful country that it is.

 Dubai.

Last but not least, The amazing Dubai. Myself and Adam have talked about Dubai since we have been together and we would love to live there for a while. Obviously not today or tomorrow but maybe down the line. Dubai has always interested me and I really hope I get to spend time there some day.

So there you go, I really hope to get the chance to visit all of these places someday. I hope you all enjoyed this post. Let me know if you have visited any of these countries and your experience. I would love to read your comments.

Much Love & Happy Travelling,

What's In my Handbag.

This is one of those posts that I have seen lots of my favourite Bloggers & Youtubers do & I have to say its a post that I love because I'm quite a nosey person. I wanted to do this post because I got a new handbag and its rather big and contains quite a few random bits and bobs.

This is the bag that my Boyfriends Parents got me for my 22nd birthday. Its from Parfois and I am obsessed with it. Its such a deep bag and I can literally carry my life in it. The picture doesn't do it justice but I promise its fab in reality.

So here is what I personally think I need everyday, I probably don't need all of this.

Purse.
The Purse I am using at the moment is a River Island Purse. I am a sucker for these purses, I find it hard to leave River Island without a new purse. They are just so practical and fit everything I need from cards, to cash & change.

Perfume.
Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds has been a huge favourite of mine since I was quite young as my Mam wore it & still does. As I got older I became more obsessed with it and it is now my favourite perfume to wear. I find myself over spraying myself just because of how beautiful it is.

Glasses:
For those of you who don't know, I have quite bad eyesight. As a child I wore glasses & in the teens I was told I could stop wearing them that my eyesight improved. Well, that optician was wrong, I really need them especially for the likes of working on the computer or watching TV for a long period of time otherwise I get migraines that last a couple of days.

Make-Up:
This is a must have in a girls handbag. I always tend to carry far too much make up in my bag. There are always 2 foundations-Mac Moisture foundation & Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation, my Sleek contour pallet, Benefit roller lash mascara, Mac translucent powder, Benefit brow products and my catrice blush. Anything after that is a surprise that I throw in last minute.

Phone Charger:
It is the 21st century and phone manufacturers have still not made a long lasting battery. I work 5 days per week and even when Im in work doing treatments my phone still manages to die so carrying a charger is key. I cannot live without phone battery, yes I sound pathetic but I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this.

Gum:
My job is pretty hands on with being up close with clients, so I feel it is so important to have some kind of gum to freshen my breath throughout the day, especially after lunch.

Hand Sanitiser and Cleanser:
I am completely obsessed with hygiene so carrying a bottle of Sanitiser is so important to me germs make my anxiety hit an all time high and that is simply because of my job. Also carrying cleanser with me is essential as I despise face wipes and will only clean my face with cleanser. At the moment I use the Ytsara Replenishing cleansing which can be purchased in The River Spa in the Knightsbrook hotel.

Car Keys:
Well these are an essential. I only got my own car a couple of months ago so theres are a newbie in my handbag.

Hair Accessories:
I always keep lots of hair ties and hair clips in the bottom of my bag, I am known for leaving clips and hair ties everywhere but hey what girl doesn't !!
Umbrella.
We live in Ireland guys, If you don't have an umbrella in your bag best of luck surviving int this country. My Umbrella is so cute its a Cat Kidston Umbrella that my Nan got me because she is literally the most glamorous gran ever.

Food & Juice.
I am a small girl with a huge appetite and if there is no food in my bag something is seriously wrong.
Right now I have half a bar of milk chocolate, a packet of Walker Crisps cheese & onion and a belvita biscuit.

To conclude:
I suppose the contents of my bag is probably quite similar to most girls, Let me know what you carry around.

Much Love Beauties,
Kayleigh xx

My 6 Steps to Healthy Skin.

Beautiful Skin Requires Commitment, A Healthy Diet & A Happy Soul.

Skin is kind of a weird thing right ? You Guys know I experience skin first hand on a daily basis as it is part of my career.

Here are my tips to keeping your skin glowing.

  1.  Remove your make up, no matter what you do, never go to bed with make up on. Your skin needs to breath. Throughout the day our pores get so clogged up with Sweat, Make up and everyday pollution so it is so important to cleanse your face at the end of each day. When I say cleanse I do NOT mean make up wipes, I mean a proper cleanser to suit your personal skin type as it completely cleanses the pores not just the surface of the skin.
  2. Cleansing Routine, it is not enough to just cleanse the skin, you also need to tone and moisturise. Your skin will feel clean & hydrated and you will feel so much better for it.
  3. Sleep is a huge factor, when you are tired your skin looks dull and your eyes usually look puffy so getting at least 8 hours sleep is so important. If you find it hard to fall asleep pop a movie on before you go to bed and it will most definitly make you sleepy. A few of my favourites are, Marley & Me, PS. I love you and Dirty Dancing.
  4. Diet. We all love our treats, but try to lessen how many times per week you overload your body with sugars and fatty foods. I know myself if I have a bad week of take aways and nibbles that I will breakout without fail. Try and fill your body with healthy foods such as fruit if you have a sweet craving & crackers if you want savoury.
  5.  SPF - Sun factor is very important especially in Ireland as we have such a varied type of weather. One second it is sunny and the next its raining, but, in any kind of weather there are UV Rays that we don't see and they are constantly attacking our skin. So whether its a sun cream you apply or a foundation with an SPF in it you should always make sure your skin is protected, Otherwise you can be a victim of premature ageing and sun damaged skin.

  6.  Hydration- A huge problem with skin is Dehydration. Ensure you take in plenty of water throughout the day. When the skin is hydrated it looks illuminated, plumped & moist. Hydration helps prevent premature ageing and wrinkles. It is so important to keep hydrated for the best results. Tea & Coffee can counteract the amount of water you drink as they dehydrate the skin so lessen your intake of both and replace them with water !!

So these are my main skincare tips, I hope you all enjoyed todays post, I am so obsessive about skincare, I think it is a big part of why I wanted to go into the beauty industry.

Remember to give your skin some TLC and you will see such a difference in your skin.

Much Love,
Kayleigh xx

Chilli Con Carne With Kayleigh

Nothing beats a good wholesome Chilli Con Carne with a good kick, So here is my twist on Chilli Con Carne.

What You Will Need.

  • A Large Pan
  • A medium sized pot
  • Chopping Boards
  • Knives.
  • Wooden Spoon
Ingredients.

  • 500g Minced Meat
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic
  • Hot Chilli Powder
  • Olive Oil
  • Ground Cumin
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 Can of Kidney Beans
  • Sweetcorn (half a can)
  • Boiled Rice(Which ever you prefer)
  • 2 table spoons of tomato puree
  • Soured Cream
  • 1 can of chopped tomatoes.
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
This Serves 4 people so if you have left overs keep them and pop them in the fridge for lunch.

How to make this Magical looking dish.

  1. Firstly, You need to get chopping. So start prepping your Veg, I always make sure I have everything chopped and ready to just throw onto the pan. So take your onion and garlic and chop up both how ever you like.
  2. Heat up your pan, pour 1 tablespoon of oil onto your pan and let it heat up quite well on a medium heat. Then pop your onions onto the pan. The key to cooking your onions right is keep stirring them and wait until they are almost translucent and soft. Then add your garlic and stir.
  3. Move onto the rest of your seasoning, adding 2 teaspoons of your hot chilli powder and 2 teaspoons of ground cumin. Mix everything together and let all your seasoning soak into the onions.
  4. Now, onto your meat. Add your meat to the pan and start browning it, the seasoning already in the pan will soak into the meat giving it amazing flavour. Make sure to cook the mince meat until there is no pink left on the meat.
  5. Making your sauce is really simple, just pop your beef stock into a jug and add 250ml of boiling water to it and stir until it dissolves. Then add it to your pan. Add your can of chopped tomatoes to the pan and make sure to stir everything in so that the meat can completely soak up all the flavours.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and stir until it has dissolved. Season with salt and pepper and then add your tomato puree. (2 table spoons.)
  7. Let everything simmer for 15mins on a low heat. Cover it with a lid. Make sure to check your dish every so often to make sure it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. It should look thick and juicy when its ready and not too runny.
  8. Add in your kidney beans and sweetcorn and stir everything together then turn your heat off and let it sit for 10minutes.
  9. While your dish is resting boil your rice.
  10. Serve your chilli on a bed of rice and you can also add soured cream as a garnish.
Now sit down with your loved ones, relax and enjoy your spicy, hearty dish and give yourself a pat on the back !!

Happy Cooking,
Kayleigh xx

My 3 Favourite Foundations for Summer.

Summer has arrived in Ireland and that means a very different kind of weather. Humidity is a big killer when it comes to choosing the right foundation to wear. One minute we are melting with the heat and the next we have a thunderstorm causing us to be so warm and the lashing rain destroying our flawless layers of foundation.

Over the past couple of months I have been testing out foundations that I find last through all this crazy weather.

1.  Inglot YSM Foundation.
This foundation is one I was quite weary of at the beginning, I didn't like how it sat on the skin but when I researched it I learned that it all depends on the brush you use and the amount you are applying. So I went about trying it again. I used a kabuki brush to apply it, I applied one layer and gave it a few seconds to set on the skin, then applied a second layer and it looked so flawless. I then done the test and wore it to work to see how it would last as the Spa is quite hot and foundation just evaporates off the skin, but it didn't budge. I would highly recommend this foundation for summer especially for teens and young skin.

2. Mac Moisture Foundation.

Well this has been the talk of the town since it was released, I managed to pick it up on my trip to Poland in the Mac Store in Dublin Airport, It retails at 36.50 and there are 18shades of this foundation so a huge variety. I would highly recommend this for a mature skin or someone who has quite dry or dehydrated skin. I wouldn't suggest it for anyone with oily skin as it is quite moist and would slide off the face in heat. This would be really good for anyone going on holiday as it contains an SPF , its also great as its light and has a medium coverage so you don't feel caked in foundation but it still gives a flawless effect and last well especially with a light dusting of a translucent powder on top.

3. Benefits Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation. (what a mouthful)
This is my all time favourite for summer that is why I left it until last. It is really important to prepare your skin before applying this meaning you need to cleanse the skin, applying a moisturiser and primer. I went to benefit and had my colour matched as I had never used benefit foundation so I wasn't sure of the shade I needed. This comes in 9 shades, It has quite a dewy brightening look on the skin and gives light/medium coverage perfect for summer. What really got me what the fact that its got an SPF of 25 so I was automatically taking this with me.  It retails at 35euro and is completely worth it I Promise !!

I hope you all enjoyed this post, If You have any requests on posts just comment below and I'll be sure to get onto them.

Much Love,
Kayleigh xx

Gaining weight - My Journey so far.

Over the past couple of months I have started to attend a local gym, most people will say " You're so skinny you don't need to workout!" I cringe at that sentence as it just show how our society thinks. The gym is not just for weight loss, it is also for bettering your fitness and yes Gaining weight. "Hypotrophy" is the word used to describe the process of gaining weight in the form of muscle.
This is what I have been doing over the past while.

Why Am I On This Weight Gain Journey You Ask ?

Back in December I had my tonsils removed and over the recovery time it was ridiculously hard to eat meaning I was getting very little nutrients into my system. I ended up losing a wee bit of weight putting me into and underweight category.

Over the time of getting myself better I began to notice what people would say to me. It was never "How are you feeling?" but a shocked "Omg You Look so Sick" or "You look so skinny are you not eating?" Now obviously I just smiled and passed it off but deep down my emotions were going crazy, I hated my body, one lady I met in the Shop even said "God you're gone very pale and sick looking", Automatically I had a full shop of people staring at me, I just wanted the ground to swallow me up there and then.

Once I had gotten over the Operation and got myself better I began researching how to gain weight and the best foods to eat, that was an Epic Fail. My metabolism is ridiculously fast and food doesn't stay in my body any longer than it needs to it burns it off in a flash.

My last resort

The Fit Factory.

For those of you who have been living under a rock, The Fit Factory is a gem hidden in Gravelstown, Carlanstown in Co. Meath.
David Moran is the Genius behind the Fit Factory he basically created a haven of fitness and a place to go and just completely forget all your worries. There is nothing better than going to workout along side like minded people who are all there for their own reasons and don't look at you like you dont belong there.

Also a huge reason I love the Fit Factory "THERE ARE NO POSERS!!" Yes no-one taking pictures of their ridiculous arms and abs in the mirrors.

There is a free weights gym which basically refers to weights such as barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, and medicine balls, which are weights used for building strength , balance and muscles mass. Now I really only know this from listening to literally everything I am being told. The Free weights gym is where I spend my time as I am literally concentrating on gaining strength and weight. Paul who is the trainer in the gym does individual programs for each person suitable to their goals and they get tougher each session but make you push harder for your results.

David also runs classes which are so intense but amazing, the results people have got with these classes are jaw dropping. So it just proves when you have a trainer with the right knowledge and when you have determination, you can do anything.

I have been off my game this week with training but it was my birthday so hey I suppose I can use that as an excuse ;)

Thank You to Paul & David for their help so far in putting me on the path to getting nice and healthy.

so there you go guys and gals, if you are afraid of getting into fitness and working out don't be, I was a nervous wreck going for my first time but remember, everyone has a different story.

I Hope you all enjoyed this post !! Be sure to head over and like the fit factory page on facebook.

UPDATE- Where have I been ?

Hello Beautiful People!

To say it is odd to be sitting here typing again is an understatement. The past year has been a rollercoaster in both positive and negative ways. My blogging took a huge backseat as I had to put both my health and career as my top priorities.

Whats been happening you ask ??

Well, there are multiple things that stopped me from blogging, now in fairness I have been updating you all on Snapchat daily so some of you will probably know what I have been up to. Over the past 6months or so my anxiety hit an all time high of panic attacks, insomnia, restlessness and paranoia, so if I was to say that hasn't been easy I would be lying.

Work has been great over the past while, we are so busy and have had lots of training in new products, treatments etc, for anyone who's asking "what do you do?" well I work in The River Spa in the Knightsbrook hotel in Co. Meath, I am a Spa Therapist.

Major News Guys .... I GOT A CAR , Yes I am finally on the road and could not be more happier. I got a bit of help from my parents which I appreciate so much and I paid my insurance (so expensive). Being on the road has helped me with my confidence which I have very little of although most people are like "You're so bubbly and not afraid to talk to anyone" Yes thats what it may look like but most of the time Im dying inside !!

My Birthday is also tomorrow. I will be 22 ! Yes i know your all singing that Taylor Swift song don't be Ashamed Ive been singing it all day long. Work is a priority again tomorrow as I am in work on my birthday but hey I'd probably just sit at home and eat cake all day anyway.

I have also been going to the gym Yes I actually joined a gym that I like going to but I will post properly regarding that as most of you will be like "Why are you going to the gym? you dont need to!" Watch out for my blog on that it could be a long one.

I hope this has updated you all a little I know its not very detailed or interesting but Ive had questions asking why I havn't been posting as frequently, so there you go.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous week.

Poland- Warsaw, Our Escape.

Hey Guys,

I hope you are all well. Back in January I secretly booked a trip to Poland for Adams 21st Birthday. We are going from the 1st of April to the 4th for a short break, just the 2 of us and I will update throughout the day as I am pretty sure most of you would like to be kept updated. Also add my snapchat to keep up with instant posts each day.

How cute was Adam as a kid.

Happy Reading Beauties xx

Day One:

Good Morning Guys, It is 7.30am, We are currently sitting in the Marqette cafe in Terminal One in Dublin Airport, we couldn't pass up a fry before our flight but wow it was expensive! On the flip side tho the beans were top notch. We are just relaxing before our flight, we always like to be through security in good time because if you get stuck in that line of security in Dublin Airport at the morning rush hour well you may waste away.

I just went for a wander around The Loop Duty Free and maybe picked up the new Mac Moisture Foundation, I've wanted to get it for a while but never wanted to spend the money on it but seen as we are on holidays who cares !

Now on our flight after a slight delay but hey wouldn't be a cheap flight without some kind of Delay.
We are just going to listen to some music and relax on this flight, oh by the way the new Ryanair planes are fab !!

Hey Guys, We have just arrived in our hotel and its so beautiful, We are staying in the 5* Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw, Now usually I wouldn't go 5* but this was a special trip so I went all out! The hotel actually reminds me of where I work it has an extremely large chandelier in the lobby and fab staircase.

Its a little bit later now, Our room oh wow its fabulous, so spacious and airy, they even go to the smallest of details in putting fresh flowers in the room nothing nicer than the smell of a fresh flower.

Dinner Time:
Starter- Octopus

Main Course- Chilli & Basil Chicken

Desert- Ginger & White Chocolate Mousse with green tea jelly & mango sauce

Once we finished our dinner we relaxed with a few drinks then headed to bed as we were both recked and it was a pretty long day of travelling etc.

Goodnight, Godbless & Sweetdreams.

Day 2

Good Morning Beautiful People,

Today we had a little lie in, something neither of us ever get to have at home. So we are just getting ourselves up and ready to head out for some breakfast, I'm just going to do some minimal make-up and wear some comfy clothes as we plan to walk a lot today.

My Outfit:

Jacket: Newlook
Scarf: Adams wardrobe lol
Top: Primark(Pennys)
Jeans: Jennyfer Brussels
Bag: Newlook
Glasses: Raybans

We walked into town which was literally a stones throw away from our hotel & came across some amazing modern buildings and where I decided it was necessary that Adam became a personal Photograhper for 5minutes( Hence the picture above).

We browsed around a couple of shops and picked up a few bits and pieces. Poor Adam had to deal with my Inglot obsession as I came across inglot and the brand being polish is so much cheaper there, and of course kayleigh spent her life savings on sparkly eyeshadows and foundations of every type

"What happens in Poland stays in Poland?? "

I will be doing a completely separate post on my Make Up Haul from Poland !!

We went to a beautiful bar/restaurant called LOFT for our lunch, If you visit Warsaw you need to go to this place the food was to die for they also do amazing fresh juices and the interior of the place was so chic and fabulous.

Once we filled our bellies with Yummy grub we made our way towards the Old Town which was so pretty it is the Oldest part of Polands Capital and it is one of the prime areas that tourists hit when visiting Warsaw.

Once we finished wandering the streets of Old town Warsaw, we headed back to the hotel to freshen up for dinner reservations. We ate in a restaurant called "Someplace Else" the food was delish and the drinks were fantastic.

My dinner:

There was amazing entertainment in the restaurant that night a girl sang along with a band and she sang all my faves like Whitney Houston, Beyonce etc. Even Adam enjoyed the music and singing.
 Good night beauties xx

Day 3:

Last full day in Poland and I don't want to go home tomorrow.

We just looked out the window and there was the Warsaw City Marathon gathering outside. We had no idea it was on. Safe to say the city was mayhem, when we were walking out of the hotel I clung to Adam as I can't really do crowds since my Anxiety got worse it just really gets to me when Im in a crowded place. In saying that , I havnt had any major anxiety attacks recently which has been good just more so moments of stressing out and being myself again a few minutes later.

Today we wanted to explore the Palace of Science and Culture, The Parks and anything else we could find.

We had our lunch in the Warsaw Hardrock cafe and it was really nice, I forgot to snap pics of the food but I had a blackened chicken pasta and Adam had some yummy food too.
We came across this shopping centre that took me a while to get my head around, It was 5 levels of endless shops and thousands upon thousands of people. We went in and I had to ask Adam to walk outside with me as it was too much for me straight away but once I got some fresh air and Adam calmed me down we went in and picked up a few bargains.

Who knew Poland had "Bath and Body works " shop ? We need one in Ireland OMG I wanted to move in there.

After a lot of browsing we decided it was home time we were both exhausted and just wanted showers and comfy clothes and food.

Seen as it was the last night we Reserved a table in the hotel Restaurant and I have to say the food was just so yummy.  We both really enjoyed it and I had asked the staff to bring out a special Pudding to acknowledge Adams Birthday.

Here is what they brought out:

The staff were so lovely and wished Adam a very happy Birthday in their best english.

We then headed up towards our room as we wanted to pack away as much as possible before our flight home the next day.

All in all we had an amazing time away and its safe to say we will be back to Poland again. It is a beautiful place and so laid back. It was so lovely to spend time with Adam just the 2 of us and just walk, talk, eat and drink. Its very hard when you don't live together as a couple and still both live at home with your parents. As much as I love my family sometimes a night away is needed for that personal space.
Im sure you all understand what I mean by that as I'm not being ungrateful for what I have.

I hope you all enjoyed my holiday blog its probably not that detailed but we just wanted to chill out, relax and enjoy our time away.

Happy Reading Beauties,

Kayleigh xx

SOSU Complete Contour Palette

Suzanne Jackson has been an Idol in the world of blogging and social media and in the more recent months has taken the beauty market by storm with her amazing products. For those of you that may live under a rock and don't know who this lovely lady is, She is the Queen of Irish Blogging, Youtube and was pretty much the first Irish Youtuber I first set eyes on, and has made a career from working so hard on her social media. Did somebody say Lady boss ?

Suzanne has recently launched her brand new contour palette and oh my days this is one not to miss out on.

Now personally I am not a huge fan of cream contouring I would automatically go for a powder contour but Sue You have changed my mind completely.  This contour palette has it all, hence why she called it the "Complete" contour palette.

This palette contains 3 cream contour shades, 2 powder contour shades and also includes a beautiful cream highlighter.

This palette is so versatile, it can be used to complete your flawless contoured base for your make up whether its a day time look or a hot night time look.

Personally, I wear tan a lot, I usually wear cocoa brown tan in the dark shade and using Shade 4 from this palette goes perfectly with it as my foundation.

For my contour I use shade 1 and 2 as my cream contour.
I then set my cream contour with Shade 3 and 6.
I used cream highlighter on the bridge of my nose and on top of my cheek bones.
Shade 6 can also be used as an eyeshadow for a natural bit of colour on the eye and also using the cream highlighter under the brows really helps to make the brows stand out.

I have fallen in love with this palette overall its just such a compact genius item that fits perfectly in your handbag and saves bringing around bottles of foundation, powders, highlighters etc.

Sue won us all over with her brand of Nail polishes and now has won our hearts with this beauty.

Cost: 29.95
Where to purchase: Cloud10Beauty , Selected pharmacies.

I am overall in love with this product as I have said 100 times over but make sure you check it out and get your hands on it.

Much love to Suzanne for creating this amazing product,

Happy Contouring Beauties ,
Kayleigh xx

Inglot HD Foundation

I have become Obsessed with Inglot foundation lately and for a strong Mac Foundation Lover that is hard for me to say.

So what is Inglot HD Foundation?
Inglot geniuses have created a perfect cover-up foundation, so it gives amazing coverage and makes your skin look flawless. It is also a Hypoallergenic foundation, Whats Hypoallergenic I hear you asking? Well basically it means that the Product is less likely to cause any allergic reactions so it would be great for an sensitive skins, now thats not saying it will suit everyone but its so gentle on the skin. My main reason for buying this foundation is that It gives the skin moisture so your skin is not being dried out throughout the day ad with Dehydrated skin myself it just sits beautifully on the face.

So this first picture is my skin without make up I am wearing Cocoa Brown Tan on my face also.

I Prepped my skin by cleansing and applying the Flormar Primer.

This is my skin using the Inglot HD Foundation using shade #73.

I applied to foundation at 10am in the morning and it lasted so well I was shocked. I did not touch my face once to fix it.

The Above Picture is after about 10 hours of wearing the foundation.

I was so impressed by this foundation Inglot just seem to improve all the time and I am becoming more of an Inglot hoarder as the days go on.
This foundation is so light on the skin but still gives such a full coverage.
What more do you want than having lightweight foundation and flawless coverage.

Where can I Buy it?
I got mine in my closest Inglot store, which was Blanchardstown. The Girls are all so lovely and will try the foundation on your skin for you before you buy it so that you are completely happy before your purchase.
How much does it cost?
I got mine for 33euro which was great as its quite a large bottle of foundation compared to most bottles.
It is so worth the money and is definitley one for everyone to have in their make up bags or Make up artists kits.

You can also check out the Inglot website on www.inglot.ie
Check out all of the Inglot girls on their Snapchats : @janeinglot @inglotireland

Much Love Beauties,

Kayleigh
